Section Expectation

This course is fully online and asynchronous with all materials housed in Brightspace. There is no required time that you are online to participate. However, daily presence in Brightspace is expected. This course is an introduction to an area that is generally new to students and, given the intensive four-week timeframe, it progresses very quickly. It is very important that students set aside the needed amount of time over the four-week period to be successful. Per University policy regarding work required for a three-credit hour course, students should expect to spend approximately three to four hours per day on this course given its intensive nature over the four-week period.

Evaluation

Teaching-Learning Methods You will obtain and demonstrate course knowledge through the following: • required readings • asynchronous viewing of video lectures • non-graded practice • graded assignments • clinical observation (recorded, online) • exams
