    The Dismantling Rape Culture Conference (DRCC) strives to educate on and intervene in rape culture, which exists "when prevalent attitudes, norms, practices, and media condone, normalize, excuse, and encourage sexual [and all forms] of violence." This conference is about looking at the intersectional ways in which rape culture exists and about coming together to envision how we can change, shift, alter, and heal from its insidious presence in our lives.     No appointment needed! Drop in to connect with a counselor from Counseling and Psychiatry Services (CAPS). 15-30 minute sessions are first come, first served and there is rarely a wait.

    What can I talk about? Anything! Gender identity, sexuality, coming out, family, stress, school, anxiety, transition into college….. CAPS counselors are a confidential campus resource.     LGBTQA-centric primary care. Check in about anything from sexual health related questions to the flu!

    Students who wish to have their hormones administered may do so here as well (bring shorts and hormones). Get your questions answered about PrEP<https://www.cdc.gov/hiv/risk/prep/index.html> or trans related healthcare. Sexually transmitted infection testing includes rapid HIV, chlamydia, and gonorrhea. Rapid Strep tests offered. Follow-up testing and prescribing offered.

    This is an affinity space for LGBTQIA2S+ folx who are Black, Indigenous, and/or people of color to gather and be in community with one another. It’s an opportunity for people to meet and be social or talk about their experiences at the intersections of race, sexuality, and gender. This space meets every other week, alternating days and location between the Prism Center and the Women’s Center, and is a labor of love and collaboration between the Mosaic Center for Students of Color, Prism Center, and the Women’s Center.
