Abby is a classically trained pianist and has taken courses at UVM’s music department in theory, history, jazz, and accompaniment. Her teachers include classical pianist Annemieke McLane, jazz pianist Tom Cleary and master classes with Latin-Jazz Virtuoso, Eddie Palmieri. She has recently collaborated in several local theatre productions including O’Caligula with UVM composer Patricia Julien, and Songs for a New World  in addition to serving as an accompanist for Vermont Youth Orchestra musicians. She has also performed with Burlington-based bands including Grupo Sabor, recording on their 2009 CD, El resbaloso, and as invited guest for Trombonist Rick Davies’ CD release party Siempre Salsa.
