Zotero Drop-In Hour
Ever find yourself wishing you had a tool that easily helped you organize all the references in your research project? UVM Librarians are ready to help you use Zotero, a citation management tool available to you through the Libraries. Join us on October 14 at 12 p.m. to explore the tool or to get your questions answered.
Data Visualization Workshop Series
Join UVM Libraries data viz expert Kristin Florian for a workshop series dedicated to putting your data into charts, graphs and more. We’ll meet every Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the CMD Lab (Howe Library, first floor) from September 9 through December 9. Whether you’re a data viz expert or just getting started, join us with your questions and curiosity to learn more about anything from getting started with poster design to designing survey data in Excel. And don’t forget a mug for some free coffee.
Exhibit — Billings Library: A Building for All Time
Join us in the Billings Library, Apse (3rd level) to learn about the building’s rich history through photographs, documents and objects. From a library to a student center to a home for multiple UVM centers, Billings has been the heart of campus for many years. Stop by the exhibit M-F, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Exhibit — Along the Banks of My River
Stop by the Silver Special Collections Gallery, Billings 201 M-F, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. to explore works by Vermont book artist Stephanie Wolff inspired by the weather. The exhibit will be open September 22, 2025 through February 20, 2026.
Exhibit — Outside/Inside: Immigration, Migration, and Health Care in the United States
The National Library of Medicine’s traveling exhibition on the historic role of healthcare in immigration and migration practices will be featured in Dana Health Sciences Library from August 25 through October 4. Stop in M-F, 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. to view the exhibit.
