BIO

I received my Bachelors of Science in Biology at Washington State University, and my M.S. and PhD in Entomology at the University of Kentucky. I am a computational biologist that specializes in precision oncology.

In my post-doctoral fellowship, I am a biocurator and coordinator for the InSiGHT Hereditary Colorectal Cancer and Polyposis Variant Curation Expert Panel (VCEP) at ClinGen. Our group focuses on mutations that cause hereditary colon cancer, with a particular focus on Lynch syndrome and the adenomatous polyposis syndromes. I am also a member of the Sequence Variant Interpretation (SVI) Working Group at ClinGen. The SVI works to refine and improve the ACMG/AMP variant classification guidelines based on quantitative methods.
