Notice: Function _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called incorrectly. Translation loading for the knowall domain was triggered too early. This is usually an indicator for some code in the plugin or theme running too early. Translations should be loaded at the init action or later. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. Managed Devices: Idle Screen Timeout

The University of Vermont Information Security Procedures Policy document requires that all University owned devices lock after no more than 10 minutes of inactivity. The sections that cover this requirement are:

7.5. Employees must keep work areas clear of confidential materials and configure computer workstations to blank and lockout screens after no more than ten minutes of inactivity, requiring a password to unlock upon return. Employees should consciously activate screensaver/lockout when leaving visual proximity of their workstations.

16.1. Operational procedures and responsibilities …Faculty/staff computer workstations must be configured to blank and lockout screens after no more than ten minutes of inactivity and must require the user’s password to re-activate. Those parameters must not be changed by individual users.

This policy is enforced by Endpoint Management solutions implemented at UVM and any attempt to manually bypass is a violation of university policy. As with any policy, there are some exceptions available to eligible devices. If you are responsible for computers that are eligible for an exception to this policy, please fill out this form: https://go.uvm.edu/idletimeoutextensionrequest
