BIO
Nicole Rizzo, Ph.D. serves as the Office Manager for The Prism Intercultural Center at the University of Vermont where she is excited to be supporting the administrative, operational, and programmatic aspects of The Prism Intercultural Center’s inclusive vision and purpose. She enjoys collaborating with her colleagues, students, faculty, and the broader UVM community in her role.
Nicole earned a Ph.D. in English with a Concentration in Literature, an M.A. in English, and a Ph.D. Minor in Gender Studies from Indiana University, Bloomington. She earned her B.A. in English with a minor in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from Boston University and is an alumna of the Kilachand Honors College. Nicole is interested in the intersection of social activism and art, especially through the lens of interdisciplinary collaboration that engages feminist approaches to social justice.
