Beverly Belisle Empowerment Retreat

Body

The Beverly Belisle Empowerment Retreat (BBER) is a safe space for underrepresented women/femme students at UVM to connect, heal, and empower one another. Named after a beloved campus leader, BBER aims to create a community of love and support, celebrating diverse lived experiences and uplifting marginalized voices. Through workshops and community activities, participants will cultivate inner strength, build trust, and work towards a more inclusive future.

         Retreat Dates: Saturday, November 2, 2024 & Sunday, November 3, 2024

         Time: 11:30 - 6:30 pm

         Location: Interfaith Center, 400 S. Prospect Street, Burlington - VT

          Lunch and dinner will be provided each day.

Drop-in Conversations with a counselor from Counseling And Psychiatry Services (CAPS) at the MCSC. Sessions are held with counselors of color and run from 15-30 minutes and are available in person or virtually. You are welcome to discuss any issues in this POC-affirming space.

Young Men of Talent

Body

Launched in 2023, Young Men of Talent is a new partnership between College for Every Student (CFES) Brilliant Pathways and the University of Vermont that  prepares Black and Latino male-identified students as they work toward a college degree.
