Weekly highlights
- Enrollment update. As of Wednesday, December 17, 90% of retirees and their dependents have successfully enrolled. If you haven’t enrolled yet, please visit my.viabenefits.com/uvm or call 1-833-858-4990 to make an appointment as soon as possible.
- A clarification on HRA setup and reimbursement. As individuals receive their HRA guide, they should have access to create their HRA account. You can start submitting claims, but they won’t be processed until January. If you signed up for a Blue Cross Blue Shield of Vermont plan, you will have to manually submit your statement showing the first month’s payment in your reimbursement request.
- Next steps and communications. Unless there is an urgent update, this will be the last message going out to retirees transitioning to the Medicare Marketplace this calendar year. We appreciate all the engagement and your patience as we navigate this transition. Please expect an update by mid-January with additional information and resources.
- Holiday Hours Reminder
- UVM will be closed December 24, 2025 – January 1, 2026. In case of a Via Benefits Emergency during break: please email Caitlyn Sisler at csisler@uvm.edu
- Via Benefits will be closed December 25 and January 1, 2026.
