Post graduation (UVM 2020), Matthew became a board-certified Medical Laboratory Scientist and began working in clinical microbiology. In this role, he applied expertise in laboratory testing to diagnose infectious diseases in patients, providing clinicians with accurate results to guide effective treatment.
Matthew is currently studying under the guidance of Dr. Emily Bruce, focusing on the intersections between influenza virus replication and host trafficking machinery.
