Favour Ajibade holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, where he graduated with academic distinctions. He was the Overall Best Graduating Student of his DVM class and one of the University Valedictorians. Following his medical training, he joined the Cellular, Molecular, and Biomedical Sciences program to pursue research on infectious diseases. Currently, his interests bridge the basic molecular mechanisms of pathogen-host interactions and the translational aspects of infectious disease research. Ultimately, he aims to contribute to the development of novel diagnostic assays and therapeutic interventions to address global health challenges.
