I am a PhD candidate in Alan Howe's lab in the Departments of Pharmacology and Molecular Physiology & Biophysics. Broadly, I am interested in cAMP-dependent protein kinase A (PKA) signaling in cell-matrix adhesions and its role in cell adhesion, migration, and cancer metastasis. I graduated from Plymouth State University in 2022 with a B.S. in Biochemistry. During my time as an undergraduate, I studied aspects of metabolism underlying folliculogenesis in dairy cows, specifically interested in O-GlycNAcylation. After graduation, I worked as a lab technician in the Molecular Physiology & Biophysics department here at UVM studying the extracellular and intracellular contributions to diastolic dysfunction before joining the CMB program in 2023.
