The World’s Columbian Exposition in Chicago in 1893 drew millions of visitors from all over the world to view grand buildings and thousands of exhibits on all aspects of “civilization.” In this session, students will share their research on various aspects of the fair, demonstrating the profound impact of the fair on global culture, trade, and race relations.
