Over 100 project proposals were submitted by the campus community. The Operational Excellence sub-committee grouped these projects into 16 categories or problem-statements, developed an evaluation framework, reviewed each project, and made recommendations to executive and functional sponsors based on feasibility. The problem statements were grouped into three categories: immediate action believed feasible, delayed action believed necessary, and indeterminate, meaning, more information or discovery needs to be done.
The 16 categories or problem-statements include:
Immediate Action
Centralized Printing
Communications and Marketing
Contract Review and Purchasing
Collegiate Travel Partners
Digital Signatures
Internal Communications and File Sharing
Learning Spaces Technology Alignment
Upgrading the Wireless Network Infrastructure

Delayed Action

Indeterminate

Additionally, during the review and evaluation process, the sub-committee identified projects contingent on the new ERP system. These projects have been advanced to discovery to expedite either short-term improvements or support readiness that will better prepare us for a new ERP system. Some of these projects have already begun and include:
Upgrades to our Identity Management System (Network ID and Account Management)
Improvements to our Service Management Systems
Improvements to data integrations and align Admissions and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
Improve employee offboarding processes
