Shannon grew up in Vermont and attended the University of Vermont. She graduated in the spring of 2024 with a B.A. in Health and Society with minors in Public Communication and Reporting and Documentary Storytelling. Before working with UVM Extension, Shannon worked for a food equity non-profit and a full-service marketing company. Shannon enjoys travelling and spent a semester in Florence, Italy. Shannon is excited to work with UVM Extension NW Crops and Soils and expand her knowledge of the local food system and soil health. She looks forward to connecting with the community in her new role.
