ENVS Major Plans

  • These are writable forms to track courses through graduation, also available on paper at the front desk at Bittersweet.

Students develop their official major plans in ENVS 151 (prior to Fall 2016) or ENVS 195, Academic Planning Workshop (Fall 2016 and later) and submit them via email to envs@uvm.edu for approval by Amy Seidl, Associate Director. Plans may be revised in consultation with an ENVS advisor and re-approved by the Amy Seidl.

*** READ FIRST - Important information:

    1. First download the form appropriate for your UVM college or school.
    2. Save it to your computer as a .docx.
    3. Name it: last-name_first-name_semester_year:  i.e. Smith_Joe_Spring_2017.docx
    4. Read the instructions at the top of the major plan forms.
    5. These are fillable Word docs. Type directly in the gray boxes for each section, they will expand as needed when filled with text.

    7. List any double major, or elective/additional minor, or additional electives on the Additional Major/Minor/Electives form, which will become the third page of your plan.
    8. Save your form as a .docx.
    9. Send your plan to envs@uvm.edu as a .docx if you have taken ENVS 151, or 195 Academic Planning Workshop, and want/need to update your major plan in our system.
