CTL Faculty Associates work with our staff to develop and facilitate programming and resources focusing on topics such as such as inclusive and equity-minded teaching, practical evidence-based approaches to teaching, the scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL) and effectively using Brightspace for student engagement.    

Becoming part of the CTL team provides opportunities for Faculty Associates to increase their peer networks for teaching, develop leadership skills, while helping CTL to increase our capacity to deliver programs and services.

Becoming a Faculty Associate is open to any UVM faculty member with a full-time appointment. We encourage applications from faculty at all ranks in any discipline. We value the diversity of instructional settings on our campus as well as the diversity of lived experiences among our colleagues.

Faculty Associates are compensated for their work via a taxable hourly rate. Time commitments range from 10 - 30 hours/academic year.
