Program Overview
CTL Faculty Associates program—a peer-to-peer teaching network—is a way for faculty to receive both recognition and compensation for their efforts in supporting colleagues in their teaching. Faculty Associates are paid at a rate of $80 per hour, subject to applicable taxes and withholdings. The program is open to any UVM faculty member with a full-time appointment.
If you thrive in moments of connecting with colleagues and helping them address pedagogical challenges, being a Faculty Associate could be for you! Becoming part of the CTL team provides opportunities to enhance your network of teaching peers and to develop leadership skills while helping us at the CTL.
CTL Faculty Associates work with our staff to develop and facilitate programming and resources. It’s a role that involves a variety of tasks throughout the year with opportunities for both individual and collaborative work.
