Working with Undergraduate and Graduate TAs, Building Skills for the Present and Future

Tuesday, October 6, 2020 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am

Free

Undergraduate and Graduate TAs can be essential contributors to running successful courses. In this workshop we’ll discuss various roles that TAs can assume in a course, and help instructors reflect on how they might best utilize their UTAs/GTAs to achieve a meaningful experience for everyone.

The workshop will also gather faculty feedback on what types of professional development could be offered for UTAs/GTAs to help them become more effective TAs in particular courses.

Facilitated by Lizzy Pope, Kelly Hamshaw, and Sandy Wurthmann.

You will receive a Microsoft Teams calendar invitation the day before your event explaining how to join and participate in the meeting.  If you click “accept,” it will populate on your Teams calendar for easy access!
