Teaching Effectively Online (Oct 26 – Nov 22)

Monday, October 26, 2020 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Free

Teaching Effectively Online is a 4-week, cohort-based, online course that prepares faculty to teach asynchronously online. In this course we’ll explore research-based best practices for designing courses, provide experience with a variety of tools, and perhaps most importantly, provide faculty a change in perspective by becoming an online student — a shift that’s been described as game-changing.

Your Blackboard course role will be student, so you’re not expected to have expertise with Blackboard’s instructor tools. You just need a computer, a good internet connection, and a willingness to take part in new teaching and learning experiences.

While TEO is offered as an asynchronous online course, there will be optional one-hour live sessions held each week via MS Teams.

Learn more about the program and view the TEO FAQs page.
