Sustainable (and Easier!) Video Tips and Tricks

Friday, January 15, 2021 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am

Free

Does it seem too difficult and time-consuming to create videos for your course? Do you wonder if you even should? Taking our cue from Karen Costa’s book “99 Tips for Creating Simple and Sustainable Educational Videos,” we’ll explore why you may want to use videos, and what strategies you can adopt to make the process easier and the results better.  Whether you use Screencast-o-matic, Quicktime, Camtasia, Premier, or Final Cut, you can create videos that motivate your students. Bring your questions, your ideas, and if you have already created videos, your recommendations.

Facilitated by Elizabeth Adams, CTL Faculty Associate and Clinical Professor; Lizzy Pope, CTL Faculty Associate and Associate Professor; Holly Buckland Parker, Faculty Professional Development Specialist, and Hope Greenberg, CTL Information Technology Specialist

You will receive a Microsoft Teams calendar invitation 1-2 days prior to your event explaining how to join and participate in the meeting.  If you click “accept,” it will populate on your Teams calendar for easy access!
