Podcast this Session:
Learning Myths and Realities

From Teaching Higher Ed

Myth or fact?: Laptops shouldn’t be allowed in the classroom.
In this podcast, the guest, Michelle Miller, explores this and other beliefs about how technology effects learning in higher ed.

Michelle Miller is a professor of cognitive psychology at Northern Arizona University and the author of Minds Online: Teaching Effectively with Technology (2016).

Teaching technology has changed since she published that book and in this conversation with host Bonni Stachowiak they reflect on the latest studies and what they prove or disprove about common assumptions.
