iClicker Student Response System

In this workshop, we demonstrate how teaching with iClicker can enhance student engagement, especially in large enrollment courses. Faculty can use clickers to poll students and get instant feedback on whether students understand concepts presented during lecture and in pre-class readings.
This workshop also covers the technical aspects of using iClicker (including comparison of “iClicker Cloud” and iClicker Classic”) and ideas for teaching with them. iClicker Cloud, a relatively new product, provides faculty with opportunities for asking additional question types, can create flashcards for students based on in-class polls, and is fully web-based.
