Blackboard Basics and Grade Center (Registration Closed)

FreeBlackboard provides space for you to post materials, communicate with students, provide assessments and other student activities, and enter grades to keep students on track. But what do you need to know before you can create, organize, and use a course? In this session we will look at ways to organize your content, provide an overview of the Bb tools, and take a look at the Grade Center. CTL’s workshops, documentation, and individual consults can help you fill in the “how to” details later, but for now, let us pique your interest as we traverse the Blackboard world!
This session prepares participants to:
- Map out a course organizational structure
- Articulate how one or more tools might align with your assignments and activities
- Identify tools and features that you feel would be most useful to learn more about
- Navigate the Grade Center
