Technological Skill: Blackboard Basics and Grade Center (Registration Closed)

Blackboard provides space for you to post materials and tools so that you can communicate with students, assess learning, and collect and grade student work. In this session we will look best practices for organizing a Blackboard course space, provide an overview of its various tools, and demonstrate how to use the Grade Center. While we will cover a lot in this one and half hour session, we will leave you with the resources so that you can fill in the “how to” details later.
This session prepares participants to:
- Consider ways to organize the course space.
- Identify tools and features that align with course objectives.
- Navigate the Grade Center.
