“What would you do differently next time?” Harnessing the power of student reflections on their work

Wednesday, September 30, 2020 @ 12:00 pm - 12:30 pm

Free

Students’ reflections on their work can enhance a sense of responsibility for their learning. They can also be a starting point for conversation and feedback about what is working and what could help further learning and performance in your course. In this workshop we’ll discuss these principles in the context of applications such as Exam Wrappers, Paper Wrappers, and other sources of students’ reflection and feedback.

This Sound Bites session will offer a quick opportunity to learn some new, concrete strategies to apply in your teaching. We will open with a 15-minute presentation, followed by a 15-minute follow-up conversation.

Facilitated by Allison Anacker.

You will receive a Microsoft Teams calendar invitation the day before your event explaining how to join and participate in the meeting.  If you click “accept,” it will populate on your Teams calendar for easy access!
