Janelle, a Massachusetts native, earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Vermont in 2014. Upon graduating, she worked for a year in early childhood special-education nursing in MA. In 2015, she accepted a position on the general surgical unit at the University of Vermont Medical Center. With a passion for education, she later began teaching clinicals for nursing students in a variety of clinical specialties including cardiology, orthopedics, and general surgery as she pursued her master’s degree in nursing education. Following her master’s graduation from Norwich University in 2020, she accepted a position at the University of Vermont. She is currently co-teaching courses in Gerontology and Introduction to Clinical Practice, and continues to serve as a clinical instructor.
