Nicole Kraft is an associate professor of journalism practice at The Ohio State University, where she teaches news, sports and feature reporting. She is director of Ohio State’s Sports & Society Initiative. Nicole authored the book “Always Get the Name of the Dog: A Guide to Media Interviewing and “Writing Fabulous Features”. She co-edited “Teaching Media Ethics.” An award-winning sportswriter, she covers the Columbus Blue Jackets for the Associated Press and sports media for Forbes.com. Nicole was honored in 2024 as the Scripps-Howard Teacher of the Year.
