Agroecology Concentration

The Agroecology concentration teaches an alternative approach to agriculture, farming and food systems that centers on ecological health, social justice and equity. In this concentration, you will focus on how food can be grown and produced in a way that preserves the environment and promotes human dignity and fairness for all those involved in the process.

This concentration is for you if-

• You care about where your food comes from and how it's grown.
• You want to help design methods for food production that will mitigate environmental impact.
• You feel the people who spend their lives nurturing life so others may eat deserve fair treatment.
