Brady was born and raised in Middlebury, Vermont. In 2009 he graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Health Education and Promotion. Over the next several years he work as a Mountain Guide, Ski Patrol, and as an EMT. His desire to help people led him to joined Peace Corp Uganda as Community Health Volunteer. He returned to Vermont in 2012 to pursue a Masters in Public Administration. In his spare time, Brady likes cooking, playing with his nieces/nephew, enjoying the great outdoors, and watching really girly movies.
