Raised in Paterson, NJ, an urban city in Northern New Jersey, Shanai plans to go back to her hometown and work for the local government. She also has an interest in Health Care, Public Policy, and Community Development. She plans to use graduate school as a guide for her prospective career field. Graduated May 2012 at UVM with a BS in Public Communication, she is now working towards her Master’s in Public Administration and simultaneously playing on UVM’s Womens Basketball team.
