Autumn is proud and grateful to have grown up in Vermont, where she has continued to reside since earning her bachelor’s degree in social work at UVM in 2002. Though she has lived her life in Vermont, she has traveled abroad extensively. Some of her international experience includes a semester spent learning from local communities in India, South Africa, and Brazil with the International Honors Program, a month volunteering at an orphanage in Ghana, a week offering expert consultation about domestic violence offenders to Moroccan government and non-governmental organizations, and residencies in Russia and Bali to perform and study local dance forms. As a social worker, Autumn has worked in leadership positions engaged in program development, extensive collaboration with public and community organizations, training, and research, primarily focused on domestic violence and behavior change. She has also served as an adjunct faculty member at UVM supervising social work student interns as they prepare to enter the field.
