Howdy everyone! We are SEEDS – Student Environmental Educators Doing Service, a volunteer organization here at UVM that promotes environmental education by sending volunteers into elementary school afterschool programs in the greater Burlington area. As a SEEDS volunteer, you will have the opportunity to teach environmentally-based lessons to young kids in an active and fun way! The commitment is on average 2-3 hours a week, as you will go into a school once a week and attend group meetings every few weeks to discuss lesson plans, how to effectively work with kids, and much more!
