Exercise and Movement Science
Bachelor of Science Program (B.S.)
The education: The exercise and movement science program is designed to provide students with in-depth study of the theory and application of movement sciences in health, fitness and disease prevention in diverse populations. Students can tailor their educational experiences to individual goals, including mentored internships and research experiences.
Selectivity and transfers into program: The Department of Rehabilitation and Movement Science welcomes qualified transfer applications from within UVM and from other accredited colleges and universities. Selection of applicants to the exercise and movement science program is competitive, and the opportunity to transfer into the major, even from within the university, is not assured. Admission of qualified transfer applicants will be dependent upon available seats within an appropriate cohort.
Additional fees: There are costs associated with being enrolled in the CNHS Exercise and Movement Science Program. These include but are not limited to: personal liability insurance, required internship apparel, and travel to and from off-campus internships.
