Community Development and Applied Economics
Ecotourism
Students have been working with the rural community of Cerro Azul, located in a beautiful cloud forest, to assist with the development of a community based ecotourim project for 4 years. Students have helped the community members develop skills including small business economics, inter-institutional relations, hospitality, marketing, trail building, and conservation. CDAE has worked with other rural communities in Honduras as well. |
