A transplant to Vermont, Michael grew up in Malvern, PA and after earning his degree in CDAE in 2009 Vermont is now home. After working for several years with a small landscape design company and on a farm, he saw a need to better understand livestock production and processing in Vermont. On that farm he helped establish up a small CSA for the employees of the landscape company and was the livestock manager. His interests include efficient local/regional food systems, diversified farm production and resiliency.
