Vermont Farm Women's Fund: Helping Women Build Thriving Farm Businesses.

The Vermont Farm Women's Fund (VFWF) is designed to help Vermont women farmers improve their businesses and/or become more involved in agricultural policy development. A key goal is to provide financial assistance that is not readily available elsewhere.

VFWF provides stipends and scholarships to help women pursue their goals. Farmers use these awards to help research and develop new products; conduct feasibility studies; and to attend workshops, conferences and classes to learn new marketing, business management and value-added production skills and knowledge. Awards can help pay for tuition and registration fees, as well as associated childcare, replacement labor and travel costs.

The Women's Agricultural Network serves as the fiscal agent for VFWF, assisting with coordination and providing administrative support.
