About Amy: Amy’s work is grounded in her passion for education, outreach, and social justice. Based in the Living Well office, she coordinates the Catamount Recovery Program at UVM, a community dedicated to students in recovery from alcohol and other drug addiction. In addition, Amy works with initiatives supporting students who choose to be substance free at UVM (student group “Not My Thing”). Amy welcomes conversations about health, wellness, abstinence-based recovery, substance-free living, diversity, and social justice. She has been at the University since 2004 with a history of work in both higher education and corrections. Amy has a B.A. in Criminal Justice from the University of Delaware, and a Master's of Social Service Management from Bryn Mawr College.
