The successful candidate will be expected to: 1) undertake an active program of research that leads to publication and presentation in peer-reviewed scholarly outlets and to seek extramural funding for that research; 2) teach courses as needed by the department, including some of the following: undergraduate courses in abnormal psychology and introduction to clinical psychology, graduate courses in adult psychopathology, and specialty courses in evidence-based clinical intervention; 3) mentor undergraduate and doctoral students in research; and 4) provide clinical supervision for graduate trainees.
