Final Envisioning Environment Forum
December 5th Campus-Wide Call for Good Ideas of all Scales
- 10-15-2012
- By Stephanie Kaza

The final public forum hosted by the Envisioning Environment committee will take place on Wednesday, December 5th from 4-6pm in Memorial Lounge, Waterman Building. We are looking for practical solutions as well as visionary proposals in the broad realms of environmental research, outreach, and education at UVM. All members of the campus community are welcome to attend and contribute.
What do you think UVM is best positioned to offer its students, the public, the region, the wider learning community? How can we build on our strengths in environment and become more well known for this area? What creative approaches might we develop that could be the most effective on this campus? How can we model sustainability principles in our programs?
Bring your bright ideas for the committee and community to hear. The forum will be held in town meeting style, with each contributor speaking for 2-3 minutes. Speakers may provide supporting documents for the website if they like. Please contact Stephanie.Kaza@uvm.edu if you wish to be on the speaker list, or you may just show up and be recognized from the floor.
The committee will be preparing recommended proposals for a 30-day campus comment period in January-February, 2013 and we welcome your further contributions at that time.
