Counselor

Counselors in CAPS (Counseling and Psychiatry Services) work collaboratively on a multidisciplinary team of clinical professionals in two campus offices, as well as within identity centers and other drop-in locations across campus. CAPS is integrated within the Center for Health and Wellbeing, which also includes Student Health Services, Athletic Medicine, and Education/Outreach (Living Well). Master’s degree in mental health counseling, psychology, social work, or related field is required. Licensure is preferred, but not required. Pay is $31-35/hour commiserate with experience.

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Two to three days per week for a combination of in-person and telehealth appointments. We are searching for providers who can work well in the fast paced and cyclical nature of a college counseling center. Duties include providing consultation, medication evaluations, and psychiatric crisis intervention for high-risk students. Master's level APRN, ARNP or RN-CS with psychiatric experience and/or specialty. A physician assistant must be a graduate of an approved physician assistant program, certified by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Applicants must possess a Vermont license. DEA required. Two years of experience as a prescribing provider in a mental health setting. Pay commiserate with experience.
