Morningstar Meadows has been growing organic grains for human consumption and animal feed in Glover, Vermont, for seven years. At the farm, Seth and Jeannette Johnson grow eight types of beans, including heirloom varieties, and 10 acres of mixed grains for a diverse livestock. At this field day, you'll hear from Seth about weed control, harvesting, processing and their fertilizer program. UVM Extension Agronomist Heather Darby will also provide up-to-date information on research from the Northwest Crops and Soils Program.
