Public Health Initiatives Manager

Martha Friedman (she/her) is the Manager of Public Health Initiatives. Her role is to provide leadership in the development, implementation, and evaluation of LivingWell and other campus-wide public health initiatives. Martha is a self-avowed public health nerd with experience in both governmental and community public health. Health equity and racial justice are fundamental to Martha’s approach to public health and she promotes combining the head, heart, and hands in addressing health issues. Martha received her Masters in Public Health from Boston University School of Public Health and her Bachelors from Oberlin College. She is a 2018 alumna of Health Equity Awakened: A Leadership Institute.
