Sevda is a PhD student in Food Systems with a focus on sustainable dietary patterns. Her educational background is Nutrition Sciences and she have a masters degree in Health Sciences in Nutrition from Azad University in Tehran. While working on her Master’s thesis, which was related to plant-based diet and chronic kidney disease, she became interested in health and environmental related outcomes of plant based diets and decided to further her studies in this field. She has also worked as a dietitian in both a health center and a hospital in Iran. During her working years she participated in different research projects to hone her research abilities and prepare herself as a future PhD candidate. Sevda is passionate about hiking, mountain climbing, traveling, and exploring the world. She also loves participating in different sports like fitness training and biking.
