Student Employment Opportunities with
Enterprise Technology Services
ETS Student Technicians engage in support services across campus, including the Computer Depot Clinic (CDC), the Bailey-Howe Library Information Commons, and the UVM Computing Help Line. Student Technicians are cross-trained in all forms of ETS support services appropriate to their job tier.
ETS has a number of job opportunities for UVM students:
Computer Depot Clinic Technicians provide technical support
services for UVM students, staff and faculty. Services include
software support
and hardware diagnostics for
any make and model of computer. The Clinic operates between the
hours of
9:00am-4pm Monday through Friday.
A Computer Depot Consultant assists
clients with computer purchasing decisions, answers the phone,
does quick troubleshooting assistance or referral to other services,
quick-sale service and enters work orders for computer repairs.
The Depot is open 9am-4:30pm Monday through Friday.
UVM's Computer
Helpline Technicians receive, document, help solve and direct
calls and
email from clients experiencing computing problems. The Helpline
is open 8am-7pm Monday through Thursday, and 8am-5pm Fridays.
Wages are competative, with an opportunity for a wage
increase every
semester.
