Join us for the all-university ceremony where the president will confer baccalaureate, master, doctoral and doctor of medicine degrees, and honorary degrees. This event features the presentation of student awards and a special address by the commencement speaker to the graduates on the iconic University Green.

Graduate College Ceremony

Location: Gutterson Fieldhouse
Time: 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm
Reception: Harris-Millis Dining Hall; 2:30 – 4:00pm

Tickets not required

Note: A ceremony for master and doctoral degree candidates in the Graduate College where they will be hooded and presented with their diploma as they cross the stage. Degree conferral will take place at the University Commencement Ceremony in the morning on Sunday, May 19.

 

Leahy Honors College Scholars Recognition

Location: Ira Allen Chapel
Time: 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm
Reception: Grand Maple Ballroom; 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm

Tickets not required

Note: Leahy Honors College scholars medallions (not diplomas) will be distributed at this event. Degree conferral will take place at the University Commencement Ceremony in the morning on Sunday, May 19, and diplomas will be awarded at each home college/school celebration following the University Commencement Ceremony on Sunday, May 19.

Reception: Hilton Hotel; 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm (Green Mountain Ballroom)
Tickets: 4 tickets per graduate (note: ticket number updated 3/7/24)

Note: Following the University Commencement Ceremony earlier in the morning, diplomas will be distributed at the Grossman School of Business Celebration.

College of Nursing and Health Sciences Celebration

Location: Gutterson Fieldhouse
Time: 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm
Reception: Central Campus Dining Hall; 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm (Reception location updated 3/11/24)

Tickets not required

Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources Celebration

Location: Patrick Gymnasium
Time: 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm

College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Celebration

Reception: Simpson Dining Hall; 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm
Tickets: 6 tickets per graduate

Note: Following the University Commencement Ceremony earlier in the morning, diplomas will be distributed at the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Celebration.

Larner College of Medicine Ceremony

Location: Ira Allen Chapel
Time: 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Reception: Grand Maple Ballroom, Davis Center; 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Tickets: 6 tickets per graduate

Note: A ceremony for doctor of medicine degree candidates in the Larner College of Medicine where they will be hooded, take their professional oath, and receive their diploma as they cross the stage. Degree conferral will take place at the University Commencement Ceremony earlier in the morning.
