Instructions for Neuroscience Research Proposal for Mentored Research Experience (NSCI 2995/3995)
For students in the neuroscience program, you will need all three of the documents below for NSCI. Please read the Student Instructions carefully and give a copy of the Advisor Instructions to the faculty member who is supervising your independent study.
The most important thing to keep in mind is that a Research Proposal is required before you will be able to register for NSCI 2995 or 3995. This research proposal needs to be submitted to the neuroscience director no later than 2 business days prior to the drop deadline (the drop deadline is two weeks after the first day of classes). A second research proposal is not required for a second semester of independent study on the same project with the same supervisor.
