Vermont SARE is a state program of the Northeast Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education program (NE-SARE), housed at the University of Vermont Extension.
Each state program provides information about NE-SARE's competitive grants programs, project results, and additional sustainable agriculture resources.
In addition, we conduct trainings for agricultural service providers, farmers and other to collectively deepen our understanding of agricultural systems, sustainable agriculture practices, and ways to best communicate about our work.
For an example of one Vermont SARE-funded project, a breakdown of grants funded in Vermont by project type, and total funding to our state since 1988, please see the portfolio summary for Vermont.
