Is Arg 248 conserved in evolution?

Back up to the OMIM TP53 page and follow the link to LocusLink then 56997 then RefSeq then NP_064632 then "CDD_Search" then gnl|CDD|10530.

There are shorter paths, but I wanted to take the scenic route via LocusLink and RefSeq. Notice that there are "p53" entries in OMIM, LocusLink, RefSeq, Nucleotides, Proteins, and CDD databases.
