Improve memory performance
Unless your machine has unlimited RAM, be sure to save your project very early. You might even consider saving it (as a blank project) before importing your first image. Saving the project gives The Panorama Factory a directory in which to store temporary copies of the computed images and thumbnails. This lets it remove the images from memory when they are not needed.
