The most exciting news to share with you all is that the recent data received from Human Resources, Diversity and Multicultural Affairs shows that 90.7% of our staff received performance evaluations in 2017!! This is a tremendous improvement over the past year's number of 40% (and previous year at 41%) and reflects the significant effort put forth by HRDMA to improve the process and implement a new review system over the course of the last several years; but, also shows that the Colleges/Units, Deans and Supervisors at the University were all vested in the success of the process ... Nominations Still  Open for Representatives to Board of Trustees Committees!

We are seeking one staff representative to the Budget, Finance and Investment Committee and one staff representative to the Committee on Educational Policy and Institutional Resources.

As a staff representative to the Board of Trustees, you'll attend your committee meeting and prepare short reports on committee proceedings to share with Staff Council and the UVM community. Details are available on the nomination forms:

Come to the Benefits Fair in Memorial Lounge to discover great UVM benefits you might not have known you had. For example, did you know that UVM has a financial planner available, or that UVM employees can ride GMTA buses for free? Representatives from many vendors and internal departments will be available to chat about how to maximize your benefits - and there's a raffle, too.

Women's Summit: Brave Brilliant Bold November 2, 2017

Registration is now open for 2017 UVM Women's Summit, sponsored by the Vice President for Human Resources, Diversity, and Multicultural Affairs. This event will feature many notable guests from on and off campus and will include panel discussions, conversations with colleagues, and networking.
